Beigh says Hurriyat asks children to pelt stones, enjoy better facilities than MPs

Srinagar, Mar 20: Senior PDP leader and Member Parliament, Muzzafar Hussain Beigh, on Monday accused the Hurriyat leaders of ‘pushing children to pelt stones while enjoying better facilities than MPs’.
Addressing a party convention at party headquarters in Srinagar, Beigh claimed that Hurriyat leaders are ‘unaffected’ by the killing and blinding of children in Kashmir.
“These Hurriyat leaders don’t remember that they will also die one day and have to stand answerable before God. They are unaffected because those killed and blinded are not their children.”
He said Hurriyat leaders enjoy better facilities than the Member Parliaments outside Kashmir.
“I don’t enjoy the facilities that they are given when they travel to different parts of India like AIIMS, New Delhi,” Beigh said. “The separatists get funds to ask the young boys to come out of their homes and pelt stones.”
The PDP leader, while attributing the loss of Congress party in the UP election to demonetisation move, said, “Prime Minister Modi reined in all the currency notes on which these big parties wanted to win elections.”
