J&K vs Saurashtra ends in draw


Srinagar: The four day match between J&K and Saurashtra ended with a draw in the Col CK Naydu Trophy (2017-18) .The match was played at Railway Cricket Ground in which Saurashtra got 3 points while J&K achieved one point.
Saurashtra resumed its second inning on day fourth and made 306 runs with the loss of seven wickets in 91 overs.
Chauhan made 60 runs off 105 balls.However from J&K. Sabharwal,Wadhwan,Slathia took 2 wickets each for the team.
The match was declared draw after the end of stump day fourth.
J&K will be next playing against Goa on 17 November.
Earlier on the first day of the match, Saurashtra won the toss and elected to bat first.
Starting with their first inning, Saurashtra scored 320 runs with the loss of 3 wickets in 90 overs.
After resuming their inning on 320 runs on second day of the match, Saurashtra were 588 for four when they declared their inning conceding a good total for J&K.
J&K started their first inning and scored 94 runs with the loss of 1 wicket at stumps day second in 26 overs.
On the third day J&K put a score of 365 run on the board.
